DCL loading spout positioners increase speed and efficiency in any loading operation.  They are used in conjunction with our standard duty loading spouts at truck and railcar loadout facilities.

 Loading Spout POSITIONERS

DCL’s exclusive Model HP loading spout positioners virtually eliminate the need to re-spot vehicles once they are in the loading station. All HP models are available in vent-thru and non vent-thru styles. The vent-thru style eliminates the need for venting the loading spout below with cumbersome ductwork. Dust is drawn through the spout and positioner and can be vented with typical ductwork to a central dust collector. A DCL model CFM Compact Filter Module can also be mounted directly above the loading spout positioner to completely eliminate ductwork.

A choice of construction materials offers you durable equipment to load any type of product: fine, granular, lumpy, abrasive, or corrosive.

SINGLE DIRECTION LOADING SPOUT POSITIONERS

Positions standard duty loading spouts in X axis.

Loading area up to 6’-0” in single axis.

Single-direction loading spout positioners increase your speed and efficiency in any loading operation. Single-direction positioners move standard duty loading spouts horizontally in the X-axis to load trucks or railcars. They allow your driver to stop the vehicle in the designated loading area without having to be in the precise center of the loading station, and the loading spout can then be positioned directly above the vehicle hatch. This virtually eliminates vehicle re-spotting once in the loading station – and speeds up your operation.

DCL offers a selection of single-direction positioners that provide horizontal travels from 2 feet [610 mm] up to 8 feet [2438 mm].

A choice of construction materials allows you to effectively handle all types of products – fine, granular, lumpy, abrasive, and corrosive – and difficult dusty or sanitary applications.

DUAL DIRECTION LOADING SPOUT POSITIONERS

Positions standard duty loading spouts in X and Y axis.

Loading area up to 2’-0” x 6’-0”.

Dual-direction loading spout positioners increase your speed and efficiency in any loading operation. Dual-direction loading positioners move standard duty loading spouts horizontally in the X and Y axes to load trucks or railcars. They allow your driver to stop the vehicle in the designated loading area without having to precisely spot the vehicle, and the loading spout can then be positioned directly above the vehicle hatch. This eliminates vehicle re-spotting once in the loading station – and speeds up your operation.

DCL offers a large selection of dual-direction positioners that provide horizontal travels up to 6 feet [1.8 m] by 2 feet [610 mm] giving a total loading area of 12 square feet [1.1 m²].

ARTICULATING LOADING SPOUT POSITIONING ARMS

Positions standard duty loading spouts in X and Y axis over a large area.

Loading area up to 20’-0” x 60’-0”.

Articulating positioning arms help increase your speed and efficiency in any loading operation. APA positioners move standard duty loading spouts horizontally in the X and Y axes when loading trucks or railcars. By facilitating multiple hatch locations, they eliminate the need for re-spotting a vehicle once it’s in your loading station.

DCL offers a large selection of articulating positioning arms that provide horizontal travels up to 60 feet [18.3 m] by 6 feet [1.8 m] giving a total loading area of 360 square feet [32.9 m²]. Conveying arms can be provided as aeration conveyor, en masse, and screw conveyor configurations.

ROTARY LOADING SPOUT POSITIONER

Positions standard duty loading spouts in rotary X and Y axis.

Loading area up to 12’-0” diameter.

Rotary loading spout positioners increase your speed and efficiency in any loading operation. Rotary positioners are used to move standard-duty loading spouts horizontally in a radial axis when loading trucks or railcars.

Rotary positioners allow your driver to stop the vehicle in a designated loading area without having to be precise. The loading spout can then be positioned directly above the vehicle hatch. This eliminates vehicle re-spotting once in your loading station.

DCL offers a selection of rotary positioners that provide radial horizontal travels from 4 feet [1.2 m] diameter area up to 12 feet [3.6 m] diameter area giving a total radial loading area of up to 113 square feet [10.5 m²].
